I'm going to grill half a king salmon and she said she'd make a macaroni, cheese, and pea salade.
I'm not sure what other sides there will be - I know my #1 son and DIL will be here.

There will be pictures of the salmon bake.

Today it will be pork kabobs, probably over multi-grain whole wheat rice.....

I'm not really sure what I'll be making tonight. Something on the grill or just snacking throughout the day. It depends on how long I'm in the garden today....

What will you be cooking up on this beautiful start of the weekend?

I'm not sure yet but it will probably be something on the grill....We may even eat out on the patio tonight!

I finally got the garden rototilled for the last time. I'll be turning in some topsoil and hope to plant this weekend. I do need to cut down the chives and reduce the thyme that is out of control......

Is anyone doing anything for the Holiday weekend?

We're getting a bunch of family and friends together for a cook-out/picnic at our Metro Park on Sunday 5/27. They have a huge pavilion, grills, play area, large field area, duck pond, etc. Everyone is bringing their own protein (dogs, burgers, brats, etc.) and a dish to share. Hopefully it's going to be a nice day. lol It also happens to be my sons' 22nd birthday!
