You will definitely taste the paprika in this because you do use quite a bit..

Sooooo, my daughter went elsewhere for the afternoon.... I have time to play with spaetzle! Could I make the batter ahead do you think? Or the spaetzle itself somehow without it becoming a lump?

Oh Suzi, I'm sorry, I went to lay down. It's probably too late but I wouldn't make the batter ahead of time but you can surely make the spaetzle and hold it. I've even froze them....
