 Ash Wednesday Dinner, 2/22
I know everyone doesn't follow Lent. I do observe the no meat today and on Fridays. Do you?
We'll be having some kind of fish tonight, I just haven't decided what yet. lol Probably with brown rice and asparagus. Hmmmmm maybe crab stuffed flounder........

DW gives up something for Lent, but that's as far as we go. It's pork roast for us tonight!

Yesterday I made a soup using leftover meatballs and boneless/skinless chicken thighs. We'll have that with pastrami sandwiches. My wife follows the no meat Fridays; I'm an non-believer. RC

I follow the no meat Fridays but DH and DS don't..........but because I'm the one that cooks they eat what I make or make something themselves.

The girl wants alfredo.... I've been trying to cut the fat around here so I have been avoiding making it for awhile..... but I thought, DUH, I've been cutting quite a bit in things by using evaporated milk in place of cream..... why not alfredo? I'm gonna give it a whirl.

Wow, no one around today? lol DH and I ended up going out for the day and stopped for a late lunch so didn't feel like dinner. I just got finished with some leftover stuffed cabbage.

 Re: Ash Wednesday Dinner, 2/22
I had that doc appointment, shopped the commissary for a few things, then stopped by my buds place and we split oak for 4 hours. I was beat so we went to The Ram = I had a loaded burger and she had a disappointing low cal shrimp dish. We split about a cord and going back for more. I hope my knee can stand up to it as there must 4-5 cords of oak and he's giving it all to me. $$$$
