Post What's with turkey at Christmas??
How many of you are having turkey for Christmas dinner?

I finally made it to the store today to do my Christmas dinner shopping. They had hundreds of hams but hardly any turkeys! I did manage to get one (23 lb.) but they were few and far between, even smaller ones. They were promoting the hams likes crazy. Is any one having ham for Christmas?? lol

I just thought it really strange as I've never seen that before......

Percy Hates Ham so Turkey it is, I WANTED Prime Rib but just too much for our budget esp. since we are having 8-10 for dinner. Luckily I had a turkey in the freezer from when it was on sale at Thanksgiving!

I used to make turkey on christmas but for the last several years I have been making eye round, yorkshire pudding and burgundy gravy instead. I got a smoked ham last year but not for christmas.

Christmas dinner always featured turkey for myself and my family over the years.
A Thanksgiving repeat, if you will.
