Post Thanksgiving Plans??
Ok, it's only about 3 weeks til Thanksgiving. Will you be cooking or going somewhere? Will you have company? What are your plans and do you know what your cooking/having??

My meal is simple. It's been the same thing for probably the last 50 years. LOL I do sometimes change up on the sides but the rest of the meal is the same. I've been looking at different recipes for other sides....All anyone really cares about is the turkey and stuffing with the emphasis on the "stuffing"!

Turkey
Stuffing
Giblet gravy
Mashed potatoes
Candied sweet potatoes
Green bean casserole
Cranberry sauce
Broasted brussel sprouts
Homemade rolls
Pumpkin pie

We'll be with TJ's family this year. Probably at his Mom's house. I dunno what I'll bring yet..... I tend to get assigned rolls and stuffing. I think she knows about my carb addiction.....

We are still trying to decide what to do.....we don't really want to go to PJ's brothers house yet we aren't jumping at the idea of having everyone here either.....maybe go out of town and hide sounds good to me!!! :D

I so agree with you Steve on the containers. I used to go through so many of them and NEVER got them back...no more. No one ever brings anything here or helps out either, including my own daughter.

I forgot about appetizers.....it will probably be shrimp cocktail and spinach artichoke dip.

I understand that perfectly, Steve. I now do it for the grandkids. Just to keep up the tradition. Most of my family is gone now so it's mostly just the kids and grandkids. We'll sometimes have my bil and sil but not often. I don't associate much with my brothers and they're all out of town any way.......

My eldest son and his wife split (trust me, this was a good thing).. so I'll be having Thanksgiving with he, my GD, and whomever else decides to come along.
We'll be having it out this year.
No mess, no fuss.

That sounds like it will be a good time Lollie. It's always nice when you can spend it with family no matter if it's out or cooking in.
