
Quick & Easy Ranchero Sauce
My mom use to make this sauce with jalapenos which you can do of course, but I found a quicker & a less spicy way to make it with almost the same exact taste! I love this stuff, I grew up on Huevos Rancheros with buttered corn, yummmy!
Ingredients:
1 can of Rotel (green chilis with cilantro & lime juice) OR 2 jalapenos-deveined & deseeded
1 can tomato sauce (no salt)
1-2T of evoo
Pepper to taste
Garlic powder to taste
Directions:
Drain can of rotel. Use blender or fp to blend both rotel, tomato sauce, pepper & garlic powder together. Warm sauce in oil and let it bubble. The longer it warms the better it is! =D Enjoy!
