I've used Robs' blend on burgers and it's really good. :) I'm pretty basic when it comes to steak, s & p mainly. I do have a rub from the Outback when they had a special....it's got coffee in it and it's awesome! I just wish I knew what all is in it. lol

Yeah, I don't buy many blends anymore unless it's for a specific recipe. Curry powder, and Old Bay are good examples of ones I still use.

It looks like my recipe is close to the McCormick recipe, and I just need to add celery seed. :D

I don't add celery seed to any of my blends. I have a dry/powder AP mix I blend add put in an old shaker bottle. I also have an herb and spice blend I have in a grinder.

I also mix my own rub spices.

I mostly use the Perfect Pinch blends for salads/dressings.

I like to use the lemon and original Old Bay and Bell's Poultry sesaoning (I use PS on chicken and pork).

Barb - HMMMMMMMMMM I wonder if it is just ground coffee or instant coffee.

BTW Barb what time is the onion soup being served? LOL

I love the taste of celery seeds. I put them in my bbq sauce and in my Bloody Marys. lol Oh, and in my macaroni salad too.

I'm sure it's probably instant coffee, Peeps. It's a really good blend of whatever spices......

LOL........probably around 7 PM.
