I followed Robs' recipe for the potstickers/dumplings....vegetarian. I froze these for later and I'll make up some more with the pork/shrimp mix I had leftover. I'm just waiting for it to defrost..

BBQ pork. If you want to try something a little different... Chinese steamed Pork (or shrimp buns). If you don't have time to make the dough from scratch, using these biscuits is a unique idea.

Now that sounds really good!! I also have all the ingredients. Maybe tomorrow I'll have an Asian meal with the potstickers and the steamed buns.

Thanks Cal!

My pleasure. The buns are very filling. A cooking buddy (who lives in Samoa?) told me they make them in Hawaii & they're called Manapua.

http://www.aloha-hawaii.com/hawaii/manapua/

I found some kewl videos on youtube showing how they pleat the dough, etc.

If you ever make char sui (chinese BBQ pork) or ribs, & have some leftover, you could have at it with that. (Char sui bao - sp?)

Your wontons look Fab!

Thank you.

I'll be looking up recipes for Chinese bbq pork in the near future. The recipe in that one link with the Pillsbury rolls I can do now. :) I'll see what I come up with tonight.

Thanks again..
