Light snow all week, then going into the 50s by the weekend.

Peeps, it sounds like what we had the last couple weeks. We've just got a light snow coming down now but we still have about 4 inches on the ground from our last storm. lol It doesn't look like it's going any where soon....

You'd better hope all that doesn't decide to melt real fast
Last time I went through a heavy snow like that, then a fast warm up, there was a major flood in the city.
It happened twice actually.
This was back in the 80s when my family and I lived in Defiance, Ohio.
Right on the split of the Maumee and Auglaize rivers.
Flood waters came up to the top basement step.
We found this out after we'd been out of town for the day.
Started back into town on our usual route and found many streets shut down, then we realized why.
The only way we could get into the house was via an alley and thru the back door.
Had to grab some things and get out asap.

I heard the whole East coast and Southern states are supposed to get hit pretty bad! Hopefully it won't be as bad as they're saying.........

Lollie, we get that around here every spring........fortunately WE'RE not too close to the river but it's not too far either. All the ice floats dam it up and the river rises quickly and over flows. It does make for treacherous driving as alot of roads get closed.

I think the weather channel said 11 states will be hit.

Our first snow of the season one day late!! It is 23F with a wind chill of 13F and it has begun snowing large numerous flakes and the wind has kicked up. It isn't supposed to stop according to the Red Weather channel Blizzard Alert (I HATE that loud buzzing sound that accompanies those alerts!) until 6 PM TOMORROW.

You haven't had any snow yet this winter?? Wow, you've been lucky! We've had about 3 snowstorms already.....winds gusts up to 45mph and windchills down to 0. Hunker down Peeps and Steve.........you may be in for a doozy!!
