 Re: Dried Garlic
Interesting.........it would also need to be cooked in a liquid to rehydrate it.

 Re: Dried Garlic
Dean Jacobs Spicy Garlic Seasoning, Grinder Jars
Ingredients Garlic, Sea Salt, Chilies.
I like to adjust it to a course grind. I have the one without the salt just garlic and chilies (I couldn't find a pic of that one).
Heres a pic

That's pretty cool. I've never seen that around here. Do you get it at TJ's or regular grocery store?

It has mustard seed, garlic, sea salt, peppercorns in it among other things which I can't recall all of what in there at the moment.

 Re: Dried Garlic
So those things are actual grinders? I've never seen those before, but I don't spend much time in the spice aisle either. Do you reuse them when empty or throw them out?

You throw them out. they can't be opened. BUT I have used a screw driver and pliers to pry the top off so I could make my own spice blend with other spices and put it in my own grinder. LOL

 Re: Dried Garlic
Good thinking, Peeps. It seems like such a waste just to chuck it.

I buy some of them to add to my spice blends and sometimes I just want to try a blend before I commit to buying the spices to blend then find I don't like it. I have a bunch of large and small grinders with many different blends. Mom gave me a spices rack with 12 grinders years ago. Now I use the grinders to experiment. LOL
