 Re: Czech Crescent Rolls
Thanks Dee! Maybe I'll try these this weekend to see how they turn out.
Cut 1 TB dough for each roll and form into a cressent shape.
This is the only think I don't understand..........most recipes have you roll a circle and cut into little pie slices. How would you do it this way I wonder? Do they just mean like a half circle?

 Re: Czech Crescent Rolls
I think they just mean break off about 1 TB worth of dough and roll it against the table with your hand like making a rope out of the dough (just wider) piece then shape it into a crescent shape.....thats my interpretation at least....

 Re: Czech Crescent Rolls
Also this recipe isnt going to be at all like the flaky rolls you get in the tubes, this sounds more like a doughy rolls that happens to be in a cressent shape.....I didnt realize that until I typed it out, I just noticed the name crescent rolls. So it might not be what you were looking for.

My dad made rohlickies or crescent rolls using his kolache dough, just didn't use any sugar. It's something I've wanted to attempt.
