What do you cook using thyme?
I've got a huge thyme plant. I'd like to use it in a dish fresh. I've already dried a ton of it. What recipes do you have that uses thyme??

Almost anything that calls for herbs. Tomato sauce, chicken soup, herb coatings, pot roast, lot's of stuff!

Re: What do you cook using thyme?
One of my favorite herbs. I often use it fresh when roasting chickens in combination with lemon and garlic. Otherwise, what Rob said !

I use it in my stews, stocks, and many chicken dishes.

It's really good Barb in an omelet with lots of cheese. I've always liked it in chicken dishes too.

Re: What do you cook using thyme?
Mostly I like thyme in chicken dishes - roasted, chicken salad, or w/ lemon, & white wine. More ideas: Bouquet garni Compound butter Add to oil and/or vinegar with other herbs for salad dressing http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/recip ... 0000682687Add to salad with garlic and olive oil Potatoes au gratin - I have a recipe with heavy cream, nutmeg, thyme & walnuts. Will go through my stash & post it if you like. How about some parmesan & thyme focaccia: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/ ... CCIA-14160
