 Crappie Fish Tacos
I'm such a child. I giggle every time I see how the name of this fish is spelled! Anyway, my husband found this for me (the one who eats no fish) for when he finally decides to try eating what he's catching! http://www.crappie.com/crappie/cooking- ... y-one.html

Gorgeous pic. I love crappie. It's very sweet. I never thought of cooking it blackened though.

 Re: Crappie Fish Tacos
OOOO, Suzi! I went to the site you posted, and saw a guy using a propane burner to heat his pan and cook his blackened fish!
I have one of those to fry turkeys, but never THOUGHT of using it to do blackened stuff! I don't own a gas grill, and figured using my charcoal grill wouldn't do the trick.
But the propane burner sure as heck will!
I just bought some new blackened seasoning, too! Thanks!'
